We are currently scheduling our weekday / weekend(s) shows - Between APRIL - JUL 2010. Any and all bands interested in playing Silvie's are encouraged to contact us for available dates. These dates fill up fast. So, don't delay!
WHAT IS YOUR FOLLOWING?
Please let us know a little bit about your self and your band. Tell us what kind of numbers can you expect to attract on any given night of the week? Playing a good show isn't easy, and we do understand. However, often times bands mistakenly assume their friends know about their shows and do not promote, let them know don't just assume. One more great way that can help- Perhaps you can garner some media coverage if you send in a CD, to press releases, etc. If you need help to obtain the List, let us know we can send you a copy of our local media outlets. We at Silvie's cannot stress the importance of promoting your show accordingly.
LINE UP
You will be playing with a few other acts for the night. You may request your time slot frame but its not guaranteed. The bill is comprised in order of which was received. Please stay tuned on our schedule @: www. myspace. com/silvieslounge
DRINKS FOR THE BAND
Until further notice, there will be a set number of drink tickets issued and/or discounts offered to band leader to distribute as they wish (ask our staff for details). And yes, we have a great drink specials for your fans as well.
LOAD IN TIME
(7:00p for 8-o'clock show) (8:00p for 9-o'clock show) (Sunday Shows always 7:15p)
If you have an (earlier show) than stated above your load in time will be included and sent with Advanced Info that you will receive upon your show confirmation.
DOORMAN
Unless you make special arrangements with us prior to your show - liability issues demand that we use our own doorman / security.
SOUND
Our No-1 priority is the sound. We are very proud to say that Silvie's has Pro Sound equipment and PA System and a very professional and easy to work with Sound Tech/s that do care how you sound. We all work very hard so that you can have the most pleasant experience on our stage and a great show to boot.
POSTERS & FLYERS
We encourage you to download & incorporate our logo for inclusion on your posters, flyers, website, and etc. We also encourage our bands to send and / or drop off posters / flyers / hand bills, etc. at least 2 weeks prior.
WE'RE 21 + VENUE
All the members in the act must be 21+ fan demographic as well- expect to present your picture State ID(s)
SILVIE'S LOUNGE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE ! LOUT CONDUCT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED IN AND AROUND THE PREMISSES AND WILL BE ENFORCED!
TOURING BAND/s
These shows are specifically formulated for out of Area / Touring acts to help you grow a fan base in the Chicago music market. We understand the importance of you getting as many shows and your name out there and getting some new fans along. However, we ask that you please understand the implications of this as well. So, unless you had a proven track record, please do not refer for a weekend show. We limit our touring Acts To: SUNDAY, TUESDAY, and / or WED Nights only (till the proven track record) Available dates are regularly updated and posted bellow. However, do to some cancelations we suggest that you always check in with us.
We will stage only (one) touring act per each night / date, along with up to three Chicago local acts (as your support) that you need to find and team up. And don't forget to tell us what is your approximate pull (if any) here in the City?
